CCTV Remote Monitoring is a method of enabling a site to be monitored remotely by a central monitoring station (CMS).
Our partner CMS is staffed by trained operators, who monitor our sites 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
How it works :
Vistec design, supply & install high quality CCTV systems coupled together with commercial PIR sensors to detect movement.
Should an alarm be triggered, CCTV images from the cameras are sent to the central station where the operator decides if it is an incident or a false alarm. If it is an incident the operator is able either to contact a keyholder , a local mobile security patrol or even the emergency services. In some cases the operator has the ability to speak to site via an integrated public address system , verbally warning intruders that their unauthorised presence is being monitored and recorded thus stopping crime before it occurs, preventing damage or even losses.
The service can replace the need for on-site man guarding or used in conjunction with local security personnel who can quickly and easily respond to an activation and in-turn take the appropriate action.
